Position Summary
The VP/Director of Operations is a senior leader responsible for driving operational excellence across branch banking services. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
In addition, the role acts as a designated backup for Treasury Management Services, providing continuity of operations during periods of absence or unavailability of the primary treasury function holder.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals and deliver superior client experiences.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Client Service & Relationship Management
Ensure high-quality service delivery for retail, commercial, and treasury clients.
Resolve complex client issues promptly and professionally.
Risk & Compliance Management
Identify and mitigate operational risks through proactive controls and monitoring.
Ensure adherence to all banking regulations, including BSA/AML, KYC, and security protocols.
Maintain strong internal controls for cash management/Treasury, transaction processing, and fraud prevention.
Treasury Management Support
Support Treasury Management Officers with client onboarding, documentation, and service delivery.
Respond to client inquiries regarding treasury products such as ACH, wires, remote deposit, and fraud prevention tools.
Assist clients with troubleshooting, training, and password resets for online banking platforms.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues and ensure smooth implementation of treasury services.
Qualifications:
8+ years of banking experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver exceptional client service.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
